The long dinner interval lasts approximately 85 minutes and is a feature of an evening at Garsington Opera.
For Der Rosenkavalier performances, there will be two intervals of 70 minutes and 50 minutes. We suggest you split your picnic courses to enjoy across the two breaks. The restaurant will serve two courses in the first interval, with dessert and coffee in the second and the option to add a cheese course, dessert wine or port.
Fine Dining Dine in the Garsington Restaurant We are delighted to launch our new partnership with Ollie Dabbous, chef patron of Michelin- starred restaurant, HIDE. Ollie has collaborated with Feasts to design an enticing three-course dinner menu. Looking out over the splendid Cricket Ground, dinner in the restaurant adds a delicious flourish to an evening at Wormsley. We will be following the appropriate Government guidelines in the restaurant with regard to party size and spacing. Booking is now open; please book early to avoid disappointment.
Pre-performance Canapés Perfect to share prior to the performance, canapés should be pre-ordered from Feasts and can be collected from the Champagne Bar.
Afternoon tea Take traditional afternoon tea, served on vintage china, next to the famous Wormsley Cricket Ground, or make it extra special with a bottle of champagne.
